Walter Chadwick - Back from the dead
Walter Chadwick was a star running back at The University of Tennessee. He had a short stint in the pros and eventually took a job as the head football coach at Wills High School in Smyrna, Ga. Only after two weeks of being on the job, he was in a car crash that left him brain damaged. Many thought he had died in the car crash, but he is alive and well and many recently gathered to honor him.
This is an assignment I shot for The Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

Members of many different faiths gathered to honor the late Muhammad Ali during an interfaith service at the Atlanta Masjid of Al Islam in Atlanta, Georgia. The light was extremely beautiful following the service that day. My hope was to capture the rich culture and beauty that exist within this community in Atlanta.
Small Towns - Personal Project
We all see the small brown sign that reads "Historic Downtown" when we enter most small cities in America. This week I began visiting these cities and meeting locals. Some of these cities are thriving while many are becoming vacant.
Mumford & Sons - On assignment for AJC

Concert photography can be a challange because of the strict restrictions they put on photographers. However, it is always fun to capture the fans enjoying the show. I think it's always a good lesson to sit back and watch the joy fans have of seeing their favorite band. I believe us photographers can become jaded and we tend to loose the awe of seeing a great band.
