Spring is in the air

Kennesaw State University students are taking advantage of the incredible weather these days.  If you walk on campus, you will find students laying in hammocks all over campus.  The trees surrounding the campus green are prime real estate.  Here are a few images I took after my evening class.

Super Tuesday - On Assignment for Getty Images

The hunter/gather in me was in full effect on Super Tuesday.  The goal was to find interesting images of people voting in Georgia.  I did some google searching and found out all the polling places in rural parts of Georgia and visited a few.  I arrived at the first location at 6:30am and stayed for a few hours.  I started in Taylorsville, Georgia, a small little town an hour north of Atlanta.  I then visited a few other polling places and ended at a firehouse in Adairsville, Georgia.

Bill Clinton Campaigns For Hillary Clinton

Former president Bill Clinton made a campaign stop on behalf of his wife, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.  Several hundred supporters gathered for the chance to meet a former President inside a small high school gym at North Clayton High School in College Park, Georgia.  Outside, campaigners took advantage of the opportunity promote local candidates by walking around with campaign signs.  At the end Clinton got close and personal with the crowd.  Here are a few frames from the event

A look into the future...

Today I began a long-form story on farming.  I started the day networking with farmers and agriculture professionals at AG Forecast 2016 in Macon, Georgia and ended my day at Blessed Acres Farm, a small farm in Milner, Georgia. I plan to spend the next 6-9 months documenting the lives of farmers and better understanding agriculture in Georgia.
